BBQ in Style this Summer

There's no denying it, BBQ season is well and truly here! That's why we thought we'd share some of our favourite ideas for hosting family and friends this summer.
 

In true The Colourful Garden company style, we couldn’t start this blog without sharing details of our very own BBQ set. It’s a scorcher.

Our next tip to creating the ultimate BBQ is… don’t do things by halves. We’ve taken inspiration from celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver and can’t recommend his black and blushing Worcestershire fillet enough.

Forget the standard sausages, we’ve all earned a BBQ fit for a king or queen this year, so head to your local butchers, ask for a succulent piece of fillet steak (size depending on how many you are catering for) and start your preparation the day before to truly enhance the flavours.

The following day roll the fillet in olive oil and once you’re ready put it on the hottest part of the BBQ. When the colour starts to turn, move the fillet to the cooler part of the BBQ. Our tip? Don’t overdo the meat and trust your cooking intuition.
