The Colourful Garden Company Collaborate with Magic Cat Publishing for Launch of New Children’s Book

Spring is officially in the air and here at The Colourful Garden Company we have an extra spring in our step because we’ve teamed up with UK publisher, Magic Cat, to launch their latest book of poetry, ‘If You Go Down to the Woods Today...’ by Rachel Piercey.

The book is for young children, inviting them to experience the everyday wonder of nature. Each spread is dedicated to key events or rites of passage in a child's day, brought to life by Freya Hartas's superb illustrations of woodland friends.

You can join Bear on his journey from spring to winter with lots of friends to meet, places to explore and things to spot along the way.

Rachel Piercey is a freelance poet, editor and tutor. Rachel performs her work and runs poetry workshops in primary schools. Rachel's poems for adults have been published in various journals including The Poetry Review, Magma and The Rialto, as well as two pamphlets with the Emma Press and one with HappenStance.

We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Magic Cat and The Woodland Trust on this unique partnership. As a company we believe in Magic Cat’s mission to create beautiful children’s books that do more.
